Anyone can forward a GST certificate
Many portals and suppliers collect KYC copies, and some check only an email and a mobile number. Nothing links the person to the business.
Copies prove nothing
A PAN or GST photo shows the business exists. It does not show who owns it.
An OTP only proves a phone
An email or mobile code shows only that someone can read that inbox or phone. It does not show whose PAN or business it is.

Every portal asks for the same documents again.

First the person, then the business, then the link between them. The person works today; once business checks open, you will share one record instead of sending photocopies.

Your own PAN and your Aadhaar, through DigiLocker. Aadhaar is never required: you can confirm with your voter ID and your e-PAN instead, reviewed by SatyaP staff.

Every result shows when it was checked and which record it came from: Income Tax, DigiLocker or the electoral roll today; GST and the bank once business checks open.

Kept up to date
- Once business checks open, business records are re-checked, and a change such as a cancelled GST shows with its date.
- Once sharing opens, the people you share with will see the latest status, not an old copy.
What SatyaP is not
SatyaP records checks of a person today; business checks and ownership mapping are coming soon. It is not a rating and not a guarantee.
- It does not say a business is honest or safe to work with.
- It does not rate, score or rank anyone.
- It does not keep lists of “bad” businesses.
- It does not hold your money or handle payments.
SatyaP records what was checked, against which source, and when. It does not vouch for anyone’s honesty, work or payments. Do your own checks before doing business.
Questions
Is SatyaP free?
SatyaP is free during the launch period. Fees may come later, and we tell you in advance. Giving or withdrawing consent, and using your rights, will never be charged for.
Do I need Aadhaar?
No. You can confirm your identity with your voter ID and your e-PAN instead, from the You page in your account. SatyaP checks your voter ID against the electoral roll through its verification partner, SatyaP staff review it with your e-PAN, and you get an answer within 7 working days. You won’t be turned away for not using Aadhaar. The e-PAN is free within 30 days of getting your PAN; after that, Protean or UTIITSL may charge ₹8.26. SatyaP charges nothing. For help, email support@satyap.com. Aadhaar details are shared by you through DigiLocker; SatyaP never stores your Aadhaar number or photo.
I run more than one business. Do I need more accounts?
No. You check your identity records once. When business checks open, you add each business and your ownership is mapped to each one separately.
We are partners, or a company. Can we join?
Business checks are coming soon, starting with sole proprietorships. Partnership firms, LLPs, companies, HUFs and trusts: coming later.
Who can see my documents?
You, and a SatyaP team member during a review of your identity. When sharing opens, also the businesses you approve, only the items you pick, and only for the time you set.
Can I do business with someone just because they have a SatyaP record?
No. A record shows what was checked and when, and, once business checks open, who is mapped as owner. It is not a guarantee: always make your own decision before doing business.
